Walter Lohman

Walter Lohman joined Senator Sullivan’s office in September 2022 after 15 years as director of The Heritage Foundation’s Asian Studies Center. Since 2013, he has also served as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University, where he currently leads graduate seminars on the role of Congress in Asia policy. This is Lohman’s third stint on Capitol Hill. Earlier in his career, he served as senior professional Republican staff on the Foreign Relations Committee and as a policy aide to Senator John McCain.
