Ryan Hass

Ryan Hass is the director of the John L. Thornton China Center and the Koo Chair in Taiwan Studies at the Brookings Institution. He is also a nonresident affiliated fellow in the Tsai China Center at Yale Law School. Hass focuses his research on enhancing policy development on the pressing political, economic and security challenges facing the U.S. in East Asia.
