Nate Russell

Nate Russell is vice president of corporate strategy at Amgen. His organization is charged with shaping Amgen’s longer-term enterprise strategy by collaborating with leaders across the organization to synthesize competitive insights into actionable takeaways, and to work alongside the executive team to prepare an annual strategy update for the board of directors. Russell is a member of Amgen’s Business Development Leadership Team. Prior to joining Amgen, he was the vice president of corporate strategy at Pfizer. During his 15-year tenure at Pfizer, he held roles in research and development, portfolio management, U.S. marketing, mergers and acquisitions valuation, and corporate strategy. Russell holds a B.A. in International Business from American University and an M.B.A. from Cornell University. He enjoys running, yoga and spending time traveling with his husband and dog.
