Mike Waltz

Mike Waltz serves as the national security advisor to President Donald J. Trump. He most recently represented Florida’s Sixth Congressional District, and he served on the House Armed Services Committee, Foreign Affairs Committee and Select Committee on Intelligence. He is a retired National Guard colonel, combat-decorated Green Beret, former White House and Pentagon policy advisor and small business owner. Mike graduated from the Virginia Military Institute and served over 26 years in the U.S. Army. He is married to Julia Nesheiwat, a combat veteran who served in the Bush, Obama and Trump administrations, most recently as homeland security advisor to the president.
