Matt Duss is executive vice president at the Center for International Policy. Before joining CIP, he was a visiting scholar in the American Statecraft Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. From 2017 to 2022, he served as foreign policy adviser to Senator Bernie Sanders. Previously, he was the president of the Foundation for Middle East Peace and a policy analyst at the Center for American Progress.
