Kevin Kim

Kevin Kim is a professional staff member on the Senate Armed Services Committee, where he is responsible for covering the Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM) and U.S. Forces Korea (USFK). Previously, he worked as a national security fellow in the Office of Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN) from 2021 to 2022. Prior to his time at the U.S. Senate, Kim most recently served as senior advisor to the Special Presidential Envoy for Arms Control Marshall Billingslea as part of the U.S. delegation to the 2020 U.S.-Russia arms control negotiations. From 2018 to 2020, he served as the chief of staff to the special representative for North Korea and the deputy secretary of state Stephen Biegun and participated in various rounds of U.S.-DPRK nuclear negotiations and presidential summits.
