Galen Hines-Pierce is founder and principal of the Minerva Fund and the co-founder and vice chairman of the Recoding America Fund. He serves on the board of the American Governance Institute and is a founding advisory board member of the Center for Public Intelligence. He is a strategic advisor to the Digital Parliaments Project, co-founder of the AI-Enabled Policymaking Project (alongside RAND and the Tony Blair Institute) and a member of the Loomis Innovation Council at the Stimson Center. He received his master of public policy from the University of Chicago, where he serves on the Harris Council and the board of the Center for Effective Government. He was previously a federal civil servant, and he is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
