Ellen Nakashima is a national security reporter with The Washington Post. She has written about U.S.-Indo-Pacific security issues and the intersection of intelligence, technology and national security. She has covered cyber policy from the Bush to Biden administrations, as well as foreign malign cyber activities. At The Post, she has been a member of three Pulitzer Prize-winning teams, a White House correspondent and the Southeast Asia bureau chief, and she co-authored a biography of Al Gore. She joined The Post in 1995.
