Dina Powell McCormick

Dina Powell McCormick is vice chair, president and global head of client services of BDT & MSD Partners. She previously worked at Goldman Sachs for 16 years, where she was global head of the sovereign business, global head of sustainability and inclusive growth, and served on the firm’s Management Committee and the Firmwide Client and Business Standards Committee. McCormick initially joined Goldman Sachs in 2007, and until 2017 she served as head of the firm’s impact investing business and led the development of Goldman Sachs’ inclusive growth initiatives, including the 10,000 Women, 10,000 Small Businesses and One Million Black Women initiatives. Earlier in her career, McCormick served in the U.S. government for more than a dozen years, including as assistant to the president for presidential personnel, assistant secretary of state and undersecretary for public affairs and public diplomacy. In 2017, she served as deputy national security adviser. She is currently chair of the Robin Hood Foundation board and a member of the board of Exxon Mobil Corp. In addition, she serves as a trustee of the National Geographic Society Board, the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Mount Sinai Hospital and the Atlantic Council.
