Profile
David Feith is a senior fellow at Hudson Institute. He served in the second Trump administration as special assistant to the president and senior director for technology and national security on the National Security Council. He served in the first Trump administration as deputy assistant secretary of state for East Asian and Pacific affairs and as a member of the secretary of state’s policy planning staff. Before government service, Feith worked for The Wall Street Journal in Hong Kong and New York. He was also an assistant editor at Foreign Affairs. He has consulted for a wide range of financial and corporate clients and for the U.S. Air Force. He has testified before the Senate and the House of Representatives, and his writing has appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times, Foreign Affairs, Commentary and other publications. He received a B.A. in history from Columbia University.
