Brett Fetterly

Brett Fetterly is a vice president at the Asia Group, working in the firm’s China practice. A U.S. legislative expert, Fetterly advises leading multinationals on navigating business opportunities and challenges at the intersection of technology, national security and commerce. Prior to joining the Asia Group, he served in the United States Senate as the national security adviser to Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) from 2017 to 2022. He previously served in various policy positions in the U.S. government and in politics, including the 2017 presidential transition, the Republican National Committee and as a foreign and defense policy director for a 2016 presidential campaign. After living in China, he received his master of arts in international affairs from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. Fetterly received his bachelor of arts from Regis University in Denver, where he played NCAA Division II college basketball.
