Bill Gertz

Bill Gertz is an internationally recognized national security journalist with more than 40 years of reporting experience. He is currently National Security Correspondent for The Washington Times focusing on China security affairs He is the author of eight books, including four New York Times bestsellers. His most recent book is "Deceiving the Sky: Inside Communist China's Drive for Global Supremacy" (Encounter Books, 2019) His newspaper exclusives include the first reports on China's testing of new hypersonic missiles; deployment of China's new DF-41 multi-warhead ICBM and reporting on how secrets and technology from the F-35 jet were obtained by China and used in building China's J-20 stealth jet. He studied English literature at Washington College in Chestertown, Md., and journalism at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
