Yiru Zhou

Yiru Zhou’s experience spans more than 25 years working for multinational corporations doing business with and within China, specializing in the telecommunications and semiconductor industries. She currently serves as vice president of Government Affairs at Qualcomm where she’s a key member of the team that navigates the geopolitical landscape. She was previously vice president of China Operations at Qualcomm’s QCT (chipset) and QTL (IP licensing) business units, respectively. Prior to that, Zhou spent 14 years with Ericsson holding various positions including executive vice president of Ericsson China, where she led Ericsson’s efforts with Chinese mobile operators China Mobile and China Unicom. She is an alum of the School of Global Policy and Strategy at UC San Diego, with a master’s degree in Pacific International Affairs.
